Senator Antonio Trillanes expose about President Rodrigo Duterte allegedly ill-gotten wealth, more than a year after the 2016 elections.
During the campaign season, Trillanes clamied 17 of Duterte’s bank accounts in three banks had transactions amounting to P2.4 billion.
President Duterte slam Senator Trillanes and the two media entities which reported on his claim, The Philippine Daily Inquirer and ABS-CBN, when he spoke before businessmen at the 10th listing anniversary of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines at the Philippine stock Exchange Plaza in Makati.
“That’s why, for the first time Nakita ninyo, ako lang yung pulitikong nagmura sa… P*****i** ko pati yung mga Obispo. Pati ako lang… ako lang ang pulitikong nagmura diyan sa Inquirer nay an. Diyan sa ABS na yan p*****i** yan, mga mukhang pera. i**** kayo. Totoo naman,” Duterte said.
Duterte said he can afford to curse anyone because he knows he hasn’t amassed ill gotten wealth.
“Akon a ang President, ako na ang nag-utos sa inyo. Sige, maghanap kayo diyan, kayo ako kaya kong magbastos ng tao kasi wala kang masilip sa akin,” Duterte said.
The President said Inquirer and ABS-CBN believed the garbage peddled by Trillanes.
“Naniniwala sila kay Trillanes, isa pang hopeless. P211 million. Sabi ko, ‘Hindi totoo yan,’ Nung nag-Presidente ako, sabi ko, Sige, ako na ang President ngayon. Kalkalin niyo ang buong Pililipinas, bangko, pag may Nakita kayo maski kalahati, I will step down as President,” Duterte recalled.
Duterte only had a net worth of P21.9 million in 2014, before he joined the Presidential race.
